To maximize the chance of getting the day and time you prefer it is highly recommended to book in advance online. Especially for the Special Event Cruises, be sure to book well in advance. Tickets can also be purchased with a credit card online or Visa, Mastercard, or cash at the ticket booth starting 1 hour prior to departure. Dinner and lunch cruises need to be purchased in advance online or call directly if you are booking a large group over 10.

Our 2 hour Sightseeing Cruises are narrated including the Gordie Howe Bridge Tour. We will be commentating points of interest for both Detroit and Windsor. Information will be given regarding ships passing by Captain Paul.

The cruise will run rain or shine. However, if the Captain deems the weather dangerous, we will cancel the cruise. In the event that we cancel a cruise, you will receive a refund or the option to reschedule.

The Macassa Bay has a Dining Room with heat/air conditioning. The top deck has a canopy that cover 3/4 of upper level. The stern deck is covered by the top deck.

Yes, our upper deck has a full-service bar onboard the vessel. On busy Special Event cruises the dining room bar will also be open. We a variety of beer, coolers, wine, mixed drinks as well as Signature cocktails including a variety non-alcoholic beverages-0% beer/wine & non-alcoholic cocktails. Our snack bar has food fare that fits everyone’s budget from hot dogs to Charcuterie Boards. Please note we accept credit, debit and cash payments onboard the boat.

No, outside food, alcohol or any beverages are not allowed on board the boat. Personal water bottles are also prohibited.

No, our season runs from May to October. Phones and email are answered all year round.

No passport required. We will be viewing all of the beautiful sights from the boat and will not be stopping to get off the boat at any time during the cruise.

Yes, we are wheel chair accessible. We can usually accommodate manual wheelchairs and mechanical wheelchairs and motorized scooters. We will do our best to accommodate disabled persons to the extent that our vessel will allow. We have 3 decks. Upper main and lower. Passengers board on the middle deck and the decks are separated by stairs (no elevators on board). There are several handicapped parking spaces in the lot near our ticket office for easy access to the boat. If you or someone in your group is in a wheelchair or has limited mobility, contact us to discuss accessibility. We will do our best to accommodate disabled persons to the extent that our vessel will allow.

The Macassa Bay is Transport Canada Certified. We follow all requirements and safety measures required by Transportation Canada. Macassa Bay is meticulously maintained. We follow all Transport Canada regulations, including having enough life jackets for all passengers on board. Please pay attention to the safety announcement at the start of the cruise for details on where the life jackets are located. Please note that you are not required to wear life jackets during the cruise.

Tip are not included in the ticket price. Gratuity is greatly appreciated onboard when booking a Lunch or Dinner cruise.

Yes, we do offer a discount for large groups of 25 or more adults (anyone 12 and over)! Group tickets must be purchased in advance. Contact us for more information or to book your group reservation.

There are two parking lots located nearby. One is directly in front of the ship and the other lot is located West of our ticket booth along the river, both lots include designated handicapped spots. Additional parking in paid parking garages as follows:

4. 275 Pitt St. W

Unless specific dinner or lunch cruises were purchased, your ticket price permits you admission for the cruise. Special Event Cruises have 1 hour boarding time. Food & beverage are NOT included in price and can be purchased onboard all cruises.

Our 2 hour cruises are for all ages. On our 3 hour evening cruises all tickets are the same price as they are geared for adults. Children can board with adult ticket purchased. Our Special Event cruises are strictly for 19*. All passengers for these events must be legal drinking age.
